At the Farnborough International Airshow, Airbus debuted a new $45 million private that will soon be operated by Qatar Airways. It’s ‘private’ in the sense that you can book this jet for charters even though it’ll still be owned and operated by a major airline, but those charters won’t come cheap.
A flight on Qatar Airways’ newest private jet will run you $160,000 from New York to London. Let’s assume that you are traveling round trip and that’s a cool $320,000 for a roundtrip flight from NYC to London. For reference, you can usually find tickets in Coach from JFK to Heathrow for between $600 to $1,000 depending on when you book.
