With the 2026 Minor League Baseball season upon us, here we rank 11 of the best Minor League Baseball Promos (alternate identities) of this season. Teams will roll out these looks throughout the MiLB seasons across the country.
Frankly, it is a shame they don’t get more use out of these designs. Some teams wear them only once. Others a handful of times. But these Minor League Baseball promos are straight fire and deserve more heat.
Ranking 11 Of The Best Minor League Baseball Promos Of 2026
While these Minor League Baseball promos are numbered below they are not necessarily in order of 1 through 11 in terms of how sick they are. In fact, #2 and #8 are two of the absolute best Minor League Baseball Alternate Identities of this season and that cannot be denied.
1. The Wisconsin ‘Dive Bars’

Dockhounds / MiLB
The Lake Country DockHounds will rebrand to the ‘Wisconsin Dive Bars’ for a limited time when they will roll out the new look from July 7-9.
Why the ‘Dive Bars’? Well, dive bars are part of the DNA of Wisconsin. And to be fair, nearly everywhere in the United States appreciates and embraces a quality dive bar but in The Cheese State dive bars are a way of life.
2. The Tulsa ‘Ranch Dippers’

Tulsa Drillers
The Tulsa Drillers have partnered with Mazzio’s Italian Eatery, which specializes in pizza and wings – two things that go great with ranch dressing – which Mazzio’s also specializes in creating. As is the case whenever a minor league sports team changes its name for a promotion, the Tulsa Drillers becoming the Ranch Dippers will only be a temporary move. Fans will be able to take advantage of the change only on May 16 and 17 and August 13 and 14.
The Ranch Dippers merch, on the other hand, is already available and will be for the entire 2026 MiLB season.
3. The ‘Flying Chanclas’

SA Missions / MiLB
For a limited time, the San Antonio Missions will rebrand as the ‘Flying Chanclas.’ The team first introduced their alternate identity in 2018 for the “Copa de la Diversión” or “Fun Cup” and they are running it back this year.
To the uninitiated, ‘chanclas’ are a very specific type of sandal well known in Latin American households for very specific reasons. If you know, you know… In this instance, they honor the matriarchs of the families and have led t some spectacular merch.
4. The Asheville ‘Snot Otters’

Ashevill Toursts / MiLB
Rolling out on June 5th, the Asheville ‘Snot Otters’ alternate identity will replace the Asheville Tourists. They’ve got stickers, polos, jerseys, and more.
I grew up calling it a ‘snot rocket’ but I suppose that’s a regional thing. It’s either that or the Snot Otter is some incredible new creation I’m entirely unfamiliar with. Either way, I love the hideous snot-colored scheme going here along with the design and mascot. This might be #1 for me.
5. The ‘Jersey Tomatoes’

New Jersey Blue Crabs / MiLB
For a limited time this summer the Jersey Shore Blue Crabs will roll out their alternate identity as the Jersey Tomatoes. Everyone knows tomatoes are integral to life in the Garden State. Making sauce with the family is a sacred day.
And let’s not look past the name ‘Garden State’ here. People outside of NJ tend to look at the state as being entirely overshadowed by New York but Jersey is an incredible state and tomatoes thrive in the Summer. Unsurprisingly, Jersey Tomatoes merch is selling out FAST.
6. El ‘Toros Bravos’

Durham Bulls / MiLB
The Durham Bulls are one of the most historic teams in Minor League Baseball and not just because everyone knows the movie ‘Bull Durham’. They’ve been a top MiLB team for what seems like forever.
Their alternate identity, the Toros Bravos, is really just a spin on their name but goodness gracious the merch is hot.
7. The Albuquerque ‘Green Chile Cheeseburgers’

Albuquerque Isotopse / MiLB
The Albuquerque Isotopes understood the assignment. Their new alternate identity merch is straight fire.
Do I regularly eat Green Chile Cheeseburgers? Unfortunately, I do not. Cheeseburgers are not the most macro-friendly meals when you’re training for an Ironman. But I truly love these designs. Get yours through the team’s shop here.
8. Lehigh Valley Ironpigs ‘Cheesesteak’

Lehigh Valley Ironpigs / MiLB
The Lehigh Valley Ironpigs will host a Cheesesteak Day this season with dedicated merch. I dare say I’m all in on this.
I have no attachment to the Ironpigs that I am aware of. They’re the Phillies’ minor league affiliate. But the cheesesteak alternate identity merch is incredible so I’m an Ironpigs fan now. Get yours on the team’s website here.
9. The Mahoning Valley Grassmen

Mahoning Valley Scrappers / MiLB
On June 11th, the Mahoning Valley Scrappers will roll out their alternate identity of the Mahoning Valley Grassmen. This will easily be the best alternate identity in Northeast Ohio this MiLB season.
This of course pays homage to the mythical Grassman of folklore across the Mahoning Valley in Youngstown/Warren, Ohio. Merch can be pre-ordered through the team’s shop.
10. Eugene ‘Los Monarcas’

Eugene Emeralds / MiLB
The Eugene High A affiliate Emeralds (SF Giants affiliate) will roll out new designs for their ‘Los Monarcas’ alternate identity. On X, the team said straight up “You’re gonna get asked where you got this” anytime you wear that hat.
They’re not wrong. It’s fire. And perfect for the team. Check it out in the team’s store.
11. Augusta ‘Pavos Salvajes’

Augusta Greenjackets / MiLB
The Augusta Greenjackets will roll out their alternate identity of the Pavos Salvajes as a tribute to South Carolina’s official state bird, the turkey. They’ll rock this look on 5/5, 6/4, 7/10, 7/31, and 8/15.
They have an array of hats, shirts, and other merch up for grabs on the team’s shop.
