Ray J Says Doctors Told Him He’s Got ‘Months’ To Live After Years Of Hard-Partying Turned His Heart ‘Black’

R&B artist Ray J took to social media to reveal that doctors have given him just months to live. According to the 45-year-old, his terminal condition is due to heart failure.

According to the “One Wish” singer, doctors previously told him that this heart is only working at 25% capacity after years of hard-partying.

In the video post to social media, Ray J says that “2027 is definitely a wrap for me” while motioning his hand in front of his neck.

“This is black,” he said, referencing his heart, which is only beating at 60 percent. “This is, like, done. I shouldn’t have went this hard, bro,” he added, clarifying that he “could handle all the alcohol … all the Adderall … [and] all the drugs.”

Noting that he was previously drinking “four or five bottles a day” and taking “10 Addys” like he was “indestructible,” Ray J said, “I couldn’t [handle it]. It curved my time here.”

“My baby mama [Princess Love] gonna be straight, my kids gonna be straight, if they wanna spend all the money, they can spend it. I did my part here. And damn, when it’s all done, burn me, don’t bury me.” [via Page Six]

Speaking to TMZ, Ray J said that doctors have advised him to remain in bed as he takes the heart-failure mitigation medications Jardiance and Entresto, and the cholesterol medication Lipitor.

In addition to “One Wish,” Ray J is also known for his songs “Wait a Minute” and “Sexy Can I”. His most popular work, however, is featuring alongside Kim Kardashian in her infamous adult video Kim Kardashian, Superstar in 2007.
