If you’ve been paying attention to the Mission: Impossible franchise for the last decade or so, then you know the series’ fortunes massively changed when they added Rebecca Ferguson to the cast in 2015’s Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation.
Ever since the introduction of Ferugson’s Ilsa Faust, the franchise has reached entirely new heights, including in this summer’s Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One.
Dead Reckoning Part One isn’t all that Ferguson has cooking this year, as she also recently led the well-received AppleTV+ sci-fi series Silo and will also be reprising her role of Lady Jessica in Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two when it hits theaters in November.
As a result of her trio of high-profile projects due out this year, some movie fans have started calling this a “Rebecca Ferguson Summer,” which likely led to the unearthing of this hilarious clip from the Mission: Impossible – Fallout red carpet.
Clearly indulging in some “double vodka on the rocks”, the viral clip of Ferguson’s hilariously tipsy interview has people wondering if the 39-year-old Swedish actress is actually the coolest woman alive.

There were also calls to put the acclaimed Swedish actress, who largely stars in drama and action projects, in a comedy.
One day brain dead studio execs will realise Ms. Ferguson should be in all the comedies https://t.co/yELSZpnlSt

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is currently playing in movie theaters across the United States. In addition to Ferguson, the film also stars Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Esai Morales, Vanessa Kirby, Shea Whigham, and more.
As for Dune: Part Two — which is reportedly at risk of being delayed due to the ongoing strikes in Hollywood — that’s currently scheduled to hit theaters on November 3. Ferguson stars in the sci-fi epic alongside Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgard, Dave Bautista, Javier Bardem, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, Lea Seydoux, and more.
