Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum Just Dropped A Limited Edition Bottle That’s American AF, Along With A $100,000 Donation Commitment To The USO

May is military appreciation month. Few liquor brands out there are showing their appreciation more than Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, who is putting their money where their mouth is with a $100,000 donation to the USO.

That money is going to be used to “support programs that help keep our nation’s heroes connected to family, home and country, throughout their service to the nation, adding to Sailor Jerry’s total contribution of $750,000 supporting the USO and other military organizations over the past six years.”

In honor of military appreciation month, Sailor Jerry is releasing a limited-edition red, white, and blue commemorative bottle with a commemorative Norman Collins bald eagle. Look for it wherever you buy your liquor this summer.

If you’re in NYC, Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum will once again participate in the 31st annual Fleet Week, with an opening day party that coincides with the arrival of ships to New York City. According to a press release, Sailor Jerry will host a one-night-only bowling activation called “Strikes for Sailors” on May 22, with “tattoos and Sailor Jerry cocktails to celebrate in true Sailor Jerry fashion.

“We are honored to be working with Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum and appreciate their commitment to our men and women in uniform,” said USO Vice President, Development and Corporate Alliances, Chad Hartman. “The USO is excited for the upcoming Fleet Week collaboration, designed to honor and thank all those who serve our nation.”

Hell yea. We can toast to that.
