A late-night shift at a fast-food restaurant turned into something out of a horror film for a San Antonio server who claims a customer wasn’t human.
What began as an act of kindness for a hungry stranger ended with an unsettling revelation that left her questioning what—or who—she had just served.
Woman Shares Eerie Halloween Encounter
In a viral video with more than 144,000 views, content creator Francia (@franciamakeupandspice) recounts her cousin’s bizarre experience working the overnight shift on Halloween at a San Antonio fast-food restaurant.
According to Francia, her cousin was working from 8pm to 2am on Halloween night when a man entered the restaurant wearing a hoodie pulled down over his eyes. The man immediately made her cousin uneasy.
“He comes up to the counter. He’s like, ‘Miss, I’m hungry, but I don’t have no money,'” Francia explains in the TikTok.
Despite feeling scared, her cousin decided to buy the man’s food out of sympathy. He ordered, received his meal, and went to sit in a corner of the restaurant. Francia’s cousin then forgot about him entirely, scrolling on TikTok behind the counter.
Then, at exactly midnight, something shifted. Francia’s cousin looked up after feeling like someone was watching her. And the man was suddenly standing at the front counter.
“He goes, ‘Oh, your refill machines are broken. Can I get a refill?'” Francia recounts.
The Disturbing Prediction
Her cousin agreed to get him a refill, still avoiding eye contact with the stranger. But when she brought back his cup, the man touched her hand and delivered a shocking message.
“You’re gonna be a real good mom. Congratulations on your baby boy,” she says he told her.
Francia’s cousin was confused. She didn’t have a boy. The man, according to Francia, clarified that she was pregnant and continued with an ominous warning.
“You really need to be careful. You need to shield your boy from all kinds of weird things that are out here. They’re out to get babies,” he said, according to Francia.
As he spoke those final words and congratulated her again, the man pulled his hoodie back slightly. What Francia’s cousin saw underneath left her terrified.
“This guy was not human,” Francia says in the video. “She says that he didn’t have circle eyes. His eyes were like diamond shape. It was just all black. She said, like, he looked like he was like a lizard.”
After the encounter, the man grabbed his drink and left the restaurant, leaving Francia’s cousin in shock. What made the experience even more unsettling was what came next.
Was She Really Pregnant?
Her cousin had been feeling sick and nauseated recently and had suspected she might be pregnant but had been putting off taking a test.
“Dude, I took a pregnancy test, and guess what? I’m pregnant,” Francia’s cousin told her, adding that she was the first person she called with the news.
The encounter left Francia’s cousin both excited about her pregnancy and deeply disturbed by the mysterious customer who somehow knew about it before she did.
“She’s like, ‘I’m freaking out because I’m scared that this man somehow implanted an alien baby in me,'” Francia shares, though she says she reassured her cousin that’s not possible.
Francia ends the video asking viewers what they think her cousin encountered that Halloween night, questioning whether the customer was even human at all.
The Rise of Conspiracy Theory Believers
Francia’s cousin’s encounter has sparked intense discussion online. Many commenters speculated about reptilian beings—a conspiracy theory that has gained surprising traction in recent years.
Around 12 million Americans believe that interstellar lizards in human suits rule the country, The Guardian reported.
Psychologists studying conspiracy theories say they’re not inherently bad.
“If we were all completely trusting, it would not be good for survival,” explains academic psychologist Rob Brotherton.
However, there’s a difference between “prudent paranoia” and illogical leaps, such as believing public figures are secretly lizard people.
Research has shown that feelings of powerlessness and uncertainty are associated with a tendency to believe in conspiracies, with believers using these theories to regain a sense of control over their lives.
The internet has accelerated the spread of conspiracy theories by putting vast amounts of information at people’s fingertips, allowing them to “stitch together facts and data from any number of sources to come to whatever conclusion they’d like,” making it increasingly difficult to distinguish credible information from misinformation.
The Reptilian Conspiracy Theory
The idea of reptilian overlords controlling humanity is largely attributed to David Icke, a former British footballer turned conspiracy theorist.
Lithub reports that Icke developed this theory throughout the 1990s, eventually describing in his 1998 book “The Biggest Secret” that reptilian extraterrestrials from the planet Draco—known as the Anunnaki—are the “Prison Warders” manipulating world events through a global elite.
According to Icke’s theory, these reptilian beings wear human disguises to move undetected among us, secretly controlling governments and institutions. The concept draws from science fiction, particularly the 1980s TV series “V,” which featured bipedal reptoids disguised as humans who were secretly consuming humans for food. What was originally meant as an allegory for Nazi Germany somehow transformed into a literal belief system for some conspiracy theorists.
The reptilian conspiracy has had real-world consequences. The 2020 Nashville bomber, Anthony Quinn Warner, reportedly believed that reptilian overlords were using 5G technology as a mass mind control device. In another tragic case, a California man killed his two young children in 2021, claiming his wife “possessed serpent DNA” and he feared “interbreeding” between humans and reptilians.

“What she saw was a Reptilian and the crazy part he already knows who she is. That’s not good,” a commenter claimed.
