Marty York can be seen exchanging blows with the other man. His shirt comes off. He takes a few shots to the face.

Things spill over into a parking garage. And somehow the night club’s security and police are nowhere to be found during the fight that seems to drag on for minutes.

Why is only Marty York shirtless during the brawl? This is a question being wondered by some people. But you can watch the video here from TMZ and judge for yourself what was happening:

Despite being best-known for playing Yeah-Yeah in The Sandlot, Marty York has kept up with acting throughout the years. He appeared in a 2025 episode of Abbott Elementary.

Following the altercation, actor Marty York told TMZ “Some unknown individual charged at me, and I had to defend myself.” They added that police were not called during the fight but it is unclear why. TMZ referred to it as “pure street justice.”
