Prime Video has released the first trailer for Sausage Party: Foodtopia, the upcoming sequel series to the 2016 adult animated comedy Sausage Party.
Released in 2016, Sausage Party was created and produced by Seth Rogen and his writing partner Evan Goldberg.
The film tells the story of an anthropomorphic sausage who lives in a supermarket and uncovers the truth about what happens to the groceries in his store when they are purchased, and that they’ve been lied to about the “Great Beyond” they go to when sold.

Sausage Party: Foodtopia sees much of the main cast from the original film return, including Seth Rogen as Frank, Kristen Wiig as Brenda Bunson, Michael Cera as Barry, David Krumholtz as Kareem Abdul Lavash, and Edward Norton as Sammy Bagel Jr.
New cast members also include Sam Richardson as Julius, an orange, and Will Forte, Natasha Rothwell and Yassir Lester in undisclosed roles.
Sausage Party: Foodtopia, which consists of eight episodes, premieres on Prime Video on Thursday, July 11. As for the original Sausage Party film, it’s currently streaming on Netflix.
