The security guard in Brazil who was responsible for the international outcry directed at singer Chappell Roan has spoken out and exonerated Kayleigh Amstutz of any involvement. Interestingly, a new report suggests the bodyguard was actually at the hotel while protecting Sabrina Carpenter whose name is just now being attached to the story, according to a report just now from TMZ.
The incident occurred over the weekend at a swanky hotel in Sao Paulo, Brazil. It escalated when soccer superstar Jorginho (Napoli, Chelsea, Arsenal) posted on social media about how his daughter was verbally abused by a security guard at the hotel for merely walking up to the table to see if it was Chappell Roan.
At the time, people assumed the security guard was on duty for Chappell Roan. He was not.
Security Guard Speaks Out After Chappell Roan Incident
Very quickly following the incident, tens of thousands of posts began to flood social media dragging Chappell Roan. The number of memes poking fun at how she treats children was seemingly infinite. Alas, she was not at fault.
The bodyguard, Pascal Duvier, released this statement on social media saying he was not working for Chappell Roan or the hotel:

Pascal Duvier
Pascal Duvier said he takes “full responsibility for the actions” that occurred. He said he was not working security for Chappell, her management, nor had any part in her security team.
As mentioned above, TMZ is now reporting that the bodyguard was working for Sabrina Carpenter at the time. According to the outlet, Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan were both staying at the Tangara Palace hotel in São Paulo. The same hotel where the 11-year-old daughter of Jorginho was staying with her mother. And the two artists were staying there for Lollapalooza in Brazil.
Unfortunately for Chappell Roan, Jorginho named her as the person at fault. Millions of his fans went along with it assuming he knew she was at fault. She was not. But the damage has been done to her reputation at this point because the jokes have run rampant.
