Molecular biologist Dr. Max Rempel claims to have found strands of alien genes that he says may have been “inserted” into human DNA. He also says this genetic manipulation may be affecting millions of humans around the world.

Dr. Rempel, the founder and chief executive of the DNA Resonance Research Foundation, analyzed 581 complete families from the 1,000 Genomes Project. What he discovered was that 11 families carried “large sequences” of DNA that didn’t match either parent in the family. He also said that of 348 non-parental variants that were discovered, none could be attributed to human gene-editing technologies such as CRISPR, which potentially suggests extraterrestrial genetic manipulation.

“Humanity may be undergoing genetic transformation,” Dr. Rempel told the Daily Mail while discussing the study, which has yet to be peer-reviewed. “If confirmed, it could be possible to detect which humans carry alien DNA, essentially identifying hybrids.”

He also conducted further research by looking at 23andMe results that included the DNA of people who claimed they had been abducted by aliens. Dr. Rempel found strings of non-parental markers in those samples as well.

“Most public DNA databases contain old data from cultured cells. Culturing can produce genomic changes, so we cannot treat these results as proof,” Dr. Rempel added as a caveat.

Rempel suggested that future studies, using next-generation sequencing (NGS) or whole-genome sequencing (WGS), might reveal humans developing unusual abilities such as telepathy or other psychic abilities.

If those future studies are able to prove Dr. Rempel’s hypotheses, Nigel Watson, author of Portraits of Alien Encounters Revisited, told the Daily Mail that it “would be as world-shattering as recovering a flying saucer.”

Should it turn out that human genetics are being influenced or altered by extraterrestrials, Dr. Rempel says, “We need to consider how much alien hybridization is healthy for the planet, and which alien races we might give priority.”

In the meantime, he says he needs “better datasets” and approval to get that DNA data from families who identify as alien abductees “takes time.” Until that happens, he won’t have any “conclusive evidence.”
