Sorry, fellas. Your window of opportunity has closed. It appears that Sydney Sweeney, who was previously the most eligible bachelorette in Hollywood, is dating Scooter Braun.
Yes, that Scooter Braun. The 44-year-old former ‘super agent’ who discovered Justin Bieber in 2008 and later launched Ariana Grande’s career. The very same Scooter Braun that once purchased Taylor Swift’s masters and whom we can, in theory, thank for the existence of The Eras Tour as being unable to own her master recordings led to Taylor re-recording all of the ‘Taylor’s Version’ songs and eventually launching global The Eras Tour which culminated with Ms. Swift becoming a billionaire.
Sydney Sweeney Reportedly Dating Scooter Braun
I’m not keeping up with my Celebrity News like I once was but when I noticed that every pop gossip outlet on planet earth suddenly took interest in the story I at least had to see what it was all about so I hit up the regular publications to see what they were all saying about Sydney Sweeney dating Scooter Braun.
In an ‘exclusive,’ PageSix is claiming that Scooter Braun met Sydney Sweeney at Jeff Bezos’ wedding in Italy and became “obsessed” with her. They write “It seems the pair have gotten together since the infamous Venice nuptials. But it’s not clear exactly how “serious” she is about Braun.”
That feels like celebrity gossip speak for “we haven’t seen any PDA photos yet and couldn’t get anyone in her camp to respond with comment” but that’s just my two cents from years of reading between the lines.
With even more emphasis on a lack of seriousness, PEOPLE writes “Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun are “casually hooking up,” a source tells PEOPLE. Another insider confirms the two are indeed seeing each other. Says an additional source: “Everything is casual. She is living her life and working hard.”
I get it. Things are chill. In fact, this all sounds like nothing more than a hook-up.
Over at TMZ they slapped the ‘situationship’ label on it. They seem to have multiple sources with direct knowledge of the situationship. TMZ writes “as one source put it, “Sydney has just ended a relationship and she’s doing what women in their 20’s do — she’s dating.” That source co-signed to the fact it’s casual.”
Maybe there’s hope?
If things are as casual as they sound, maybe you shouldn’t give up hope, fellas. Sydney Sweeney is only 27 years old. Scooter Braun is 44. He is, however, believed to be a billionaire. So you likely have some work to do in the earnings department.
Aside from this super casual situationship fling with Scooter Braun, whichis basically what they’re calling it, she has had a few flops…
