Ahead of the premiere of the third and final season of HBO’s Euphoria, fans are blasting actress Sydney Sweeney and creator Sam Levinson for a disturbing storyline that Sweeney’s character is taking part in. A teaser video for Euphoria shows Sweeney’s character Cassie explicitly posing in baby clothes to sell adult content.
Not only are the photos explicit, but they’re also extremely disturbing given the nature of them, so we will not be embedding them here. If you’re that curious, either tune into Euphoria on HBO or just search “Sydney Sweeney” on social media.
The outrage to the images and storyline has been swift and widespread, with TV fans ripping both Levinson for even thinking of and filming such a thing, and Sweeney for agreeing to do it. This is also in addition to scenes of Sweeney’s character being dressed as a dog.

Below are just a fraction of the outraged reactions from fans on social media, with much of the disgust being aimed at series creator Sam Levinson and Sweeney herself.
“There’s no sisterhood in the world that would stop me from beating the hell out of this one here,” one viral tweet said of Sweeney.
“I don’t understand how Euphoria went from the beautiful masterpiece that was s1 to Cassie being dressed as a baby doing OF and the show being set in a desert… Sam Levinson you will pay for your sins,” a second wondered.
“Sucks that if i wanna watch something with Zendaya Hunter Schafer Alexa Demie and Colman Domingo together i gotta tune into the evil ass r— show,” a third bemoaned.
“Sam Levinson going to hell like there is something deeply wrong with that man. This is straight up gratuitous exploitation and this is coming from someone who loved Euphoria Seasons 1 and 2.”

Euphoria season 3 premieres on HBO and HBO Max on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at 9 p.m. EST. Reviews of the concluding batch of episodes have been largely negative across the board. Viral video from the premiere saw Zendaya avoiding taking a photo with Levinson, so perhaps she knows something about him that the rest of the world is seemingly now realizing.
