Sydney Sweeney’s latest stunt to promote her new lingerie brand could result in the actress landing in some legal trouble.

According to reports, actress Sydney Sweeney could face charges for criminal trespass and/or vandalism and she climbed onto the Hollywood sign in Los Angeles and hung bras on it.

Sweeney is coming off the biggest success of her career as hew newest film The Housemaid alongside Amanda Seyfried is expect to make $400 million at the global box office against a $25 million budget.

“Sydney got a permit from FilmLA to shoot the Hollywood Sign, but she did not have permission to touch or climb the sign itself … and, like the bras, the permit had strings attached.”

“TMZ obtained an email from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which owns the Hollywood Sign. The Chamber made it clear … her production company was notified she could not shoot the sign or use the video without getting prior approval from the Chamber.” [via TMZ]

Sweeney’s lingerie brand “Syrn,” which has the financial backing of Jeff Bezos — hence why Sweeney was invited to his wedding in Italy last summer — will officially launch on Wednesday, January 28.

This year, Sweeney will next be seen via a cameo role in The Devil Wears Prada 2 and will also be reprising her role as Cassie Howard in the third and final season of HBO’s hit series Euphoria.
