Actress Sydney Sweeney has addressed whether or not she’s gotten any work on her body done and vehemently denied undergoing any procedures, claiming that she is scared of needles.

As one of the most prominent sex symbols in Hollywood, Sydney Sweeney’s looks are a topic of constant discussion, leading the 28-year-old A-lister to address allegations of getting plastic surgery while on the promotional trail for her new film The Housemaid.

While doing one of those gimmick interviews for Allure, Sweeney said that she’s “never” gotten any work done.

Actress Sydney Sweeney said that she has “never” gotten work done to her body because she is “so scared” of needles

“I have never gotten work done. I am so scared of needles,” Sweeney said. “You guys, you cannot compare a photo of me when I was 12 to a photo of me at 26 with professional makeup and lighting. Of course I’m going to look different! Social media is insane.”

Amanda Seyfried’s answer was also noteworthy as the 40-year-old former Mean Girls star came across pushing botox and the like on Sweeney.

“But it’s really effective once you get older,” Seyfried argued before saying, “You don’t need it yet.”

“‘You don’t need it yet’ is so f—— evil, hello? Like regardless of what you think of Sydney Sweeney this is awful to say to a young woman, no???” one person said on Twitter in reaction to the clip.

“I’m really tired of everyone trynna normalize f— a– botox and fillers,” another added.

“F Sydney but why is Amanda promoting changing your face when you’re older 😭😭 like what does she mean by ‘you don’t need it yet’ girl you don’t f—— need it at all. Let yourself age jfc its normal to age.”

“Hearing people talking like Amanda does about plastic surgery is so weird to me. I know acting is a different world, especially when it comes to looks and especially women’s looks but damn. How bleak.”

In addition to Sweeney and Seyfried, the Paul Feig directed The Housemaid — an adaptation of the best-selling thriller novel — also stars Brandon Skelnar, Michele Morrone, and Elizabeth Perkins, and will be released in theaters on Christmas Day.
