Sydney Sweeney spent her Labor Day Weekend in Italy, likely due to the Venice Film Festival, which kicked off last week.

Despite the fact that actors in Hollywood are currently striking, Sweeney found herself in Italy anyway, as evidenced by her Instagram.

In recent days, Sweeney has shared photos of herself trying to hold up the Leaning Tower of Pizza and rocking stunning gowns from famed Italian designed Emporio Armani.

Sweeney most recently starred in the Max original film Reality, which earned the Euphoria star rave reviews. Later this year, if it doesn’t get delayed due to the strikes, Sweeney will be starring in the rom-com film Anyone But You alongside Top Gun: Maverick actor Glen Powell.

In February, Sweeney will be making her first appearance in a potential franchise film as she stars as Julia Carpenter/Spider-Woman in Sony’s Madambe Web. Alongside Sweeney, Dakota Johnson stars in the titular role, while Celeste O’Connor, Isabela Merced, Tahar Rahim, Emma Roberts, Mike Epps, Adam Scott, and Zosia Mame are also set to feature.

While Sweeney is best known for starring as Cassie Howard in HBO’s Euphoria, she’s also had roles in projects such as Americana, The Voyeurs, Night Teeth, Nocturne, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, The White Lotus, Sharp Objects, and The Handmaid’s Tale.

In the coming years, Sweeney is attached to a remake of the 1968 Jane Fonda-starring sci-fi film Barbarella, Immaculate, Echo Valley, and the third season of Euphoria.

If you want to keep up with everything that Sweeney is up to these days, you can follow her on Instagram, where she currently has over 15 million followers.
