Popular sports reporter and podcast Taylor Rooks also just so happens to not only be one of the most beautiful women in sports media but perhaps the entire country, which unsurprisingly leads her to both highly advantageous and awkward situations.

Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks was a prime example of that fact, as Taylor Rooks was able to afford (or was given) prime seats in the TD Garden to take in the C’s dominant 107-89 win.

On the flip side of that coin, however, is the fact that Rooks also found herself (seemingly) getting her ear chewed off by a dude in the crowd who rightfully saw sitting next to Rooks as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

“Omg this photo is never going to die. 😭 sorry to that man,” Rooks tweeted after the photo went viral on Twitter.

Even the popular Art But Make It Sports account got involved in the fun:

Another common reply was to compare the blonde Boston fan to the many men who have gone viral after getting caught red-handed in similar situations over the years, who have also since been turned into memes.

Game 1 of the 2024 NBA Finals was dominated by the Boston Celtics, who are the betting favorites in the matchup.

Jaylen Brown led the way for the Celtics with 22 points, while Kristpas Porzingis scored 20 in his first game back from injury. Jayson Tatum also scored 16 points, while fellow started Derrick White, Jrue Holiday and Al Horford were also in double figures.

The Celtics and Mavs will face off for Game 2 of the 2024 NBA Finals on Sunday, June 9 at 8:00 p.m. EST. The series will then shift to Dallas for Games 3 and 4.

Currently, Rooks does NBA work with Turner Sports/Bleacher Report, NFL sideline reporting for Prime Video’s Thursday Night Football games, and hosts a podcast with fellow bombshell sports reporter Joy Taylor.
