Taylor Swift reportedly reached out to Brittany Mahomes to make sure she was/is doing okay after the Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Her concern actually stemmed from a hanging of Kermit the Frog prior to kickoff, not the result.
Swift, Mahomes and Travis Kelce were “incredibly disturbed” by the incident, which had nothing to do with the Muppets and served instead as a metaphorical hanging of Patrick Mahomes.
The 29-year-old quarterback often draws comparison to Kermit because of the way he speaks. His voice sounds very similar to the anthropomorphic green frog, who serves as the pragmatic protagonist of numerous Muppet productions.

He did his best impression at the Super Bowl back in February, kind of.
Las Vegas, one of Kansas City’s biggest rivals, showed the ultimate disrespect toward the Chiefs’ signal-caller after a few different Raiders players arrived to training camp with a Kermit the Frog puppet. Mahomes dropped an ice cold line in response to the mockery and already beat them once.
On Sunday, it was members of Bills Mafia who brought the puppet(s). There was more than one.

One of the puppets suffered an untimely death by hanging during the pregame tailgate. Kermit, dressed as Mahomes, hung from a rope attached to a long pole that reached above a highly-trafficked thoroughfare. The presentation caused widespread outrage.

Some people pointed to the implied racism involved with the hanging of the puppet. Others considered it a hate crime toward Mahomes. However, this same behavior (right or wrong) also occurred with Tom Brady and other white players, in a less metaphorical manner.

Despite what history might suggest about the role of race, or lack thereof, Brittany Mahomes was still made to feel uncomfortable. Her husband was symbolically hanged.
Taylor Swift made sure Brittany Mahomes is okay.
Shortly after the images of Kermit went viral on social media, the world’s biggest music star reached out to the wife of her boyfriend’s quarterback— who is also her friend. According to the DailyMail, Swift and Kelce were also upset with the Bills Mafia’s behavior.
Taylor’s friends said she and Travis found it incredibly disturbing. She has talked to Brittany who was really taken aback.

The source said this latest stunt serves as a reminder for Mahomes and Kelce to keep their heads on a swivel after their properties were burglarized last month. Not only is the FBI involved with the investigation, a South American crime ring is the top suspect.
Considering the recent burglaries and then to have this stunt with Kermit happen goes to show all of them that they really need to be vigilant when it comes to their security.

Although Brittany and Patrick are (probably) not going to press charges, the Mahomes family is supposedly seeking peace of mind about the hanging of Kermit. They, and Swift and Kelce, would like to know what happened.
They would all like to find out who did this, and footage should reveal it. Not to press charges, per say, but just to know that it was nothing more sinister than a joking Bills fan.

Considering the history of hanging quarterbacks in the parking lot of Highmark Stadium, and other NFL stadiums, it is pretty safe to assume it was indeed just a joke. Nevertheless, Brittany Mahomes and Taylor Swift would like to know for sure. The latter was sad for the former, who was really shaken up!
