Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are planning to get married. However, they are reportedly at a standstill over finances because a prenup is — or is not — in the works.
The good news is that neither party seems to have any concerns about how things are going to play out.
Kelce and Swift only started dating around this time last year, or maybe a little bit earlier in the summer, but their well-documented relationship blossomed at an astonishing pace in the public eye. The multi-platinum recording artist was with the Kansas City Chiefs during their Super Bowl run. The tight end made multiple stops on the Eras Tour and even made a cameo on stage.
Needless to say, Swift and Kelce are going strong. A source (apparently?) close to the couple told Life & Style Magazine that they have plans to get married, start a family and grow old together.
This is a lot further along than either Taylor or Travis would care to admit, since they’ve considered themselves unofficially engaged for a while and are both 100 percent committed to spending the rest of their lives together and starting a family.

It is an unspoken engagement. Kelce has not proposed to Swift. Swift has not asked Kelce to marry her.
All that is missing at this point is a ring. And there is only one thing holding them back… money!
The formalities are just their schedules that have gotten in the way, as well as the logistics of a prenup, which is obviously complicated by the vast amounts of money involved on both sides.

At 34 years old, Swift has an estimated net worth of more than $1 billion. Kelce, also 34, has made $76 million with the Chiefs— not including his endorsements. He is supposedly worth somewhere around $70 million when all is said and done.
The desire to sure-up their finances is mutual. They both want to make sure there is a plan in place.
But with that being said, Life & Style’s source claims that Swift is the primary catalyst.
