‘Might Mess Around And Replace The Whole Bag Now’: Golfer Buys ‘Sketchy’ Wedge Off Of Temu. He Wasn’t Expecting This

While Temu has a reputation for offering goods for cheap prices, they aren’t exactly known for their quality.

People ordering from Temu have been met with all sorts of unfortunate surprises, from the woman who ordered a croissant-shaped lamp and received a lamp made from a real croissant to the many people who ordered children’s toys that could be dangerous.

However, at the end of the day, Temu is a marketplace, and one that features a variety of sellers. Therefore, while it shouldn’t be surprising that something you order actually arrives and is of decent quality, it really is—so much so that you might want to share that fact with the world.

How Is This Temu Golf Club?

In a video with over 242,000 views, TikTok user @iceandironnn shows a box he recently received from Temu.

“POV: You decide to give a Temu wedge a shot,” he writes in the text overlaying the video.

Upon pulling out the wedge, he gives it a once-over and finds that the quality is actually surprisingly good.

“Wasn’t expecting much but lowkey it kinda snaps,” he adds in the caption. “Might mess around and replace the whole bag now.”

While this may be a covert advertisement—the TikToker offers his promotional code for the site in his bio—that doesn’t mean that other golfers haven’t found similar success using the site.

In fact, golf YouTubers JnA Golf reviewed a set of golf clubs from Temu that were clear knockoffs of a set that sold for around seven times the price. They noted a few issues. However, they were consistently impressed by the clubs, describing themselves as “blown away” by the experience.

Still, it should be noted once again that Temu is a marketplace with a variety of sellers and products, and as a result, not all golf clubs on the site are going to be of the same quality. On Reddit, some users have noted poor experiences using the site, while others have said that the marketplace is good for basic golf products like grip tape and alignment sticks.

Commenters Are Impressed

In the comments section, users claimed that they similar success buying golf products from the site, with many sharing their own experiences and the prices they paid for them.

“Temu wedges are godly,” said a user. “got mine for $20.”

“I kitted myself out entirely using only Temu items. Just for fun. The bag, the clubs, tees and so on. Can’t fault it. Brilliant setup!” exclaimed another. “Most people seem to frown when I tell them. Don’t care – it works for me 100%.”

“I don’t know what it’s called exactly, but I bought this club on Temu which looks like a putter but has loft like a wedge. I’m not to comfortable with my wedges on shorter distances, so I use it there. Works surprisingly good,” suggested a third.
