Texas Boy Orders Pizza From Little Caesars. Then He Picks It Up—And Sees What Name They Put On His Order: ‘That Pizza About To Be Good’

Everybody loves a pizza party. More so when the vibe is right and everyone is getting along. And sometimes, it’s the littlest details that “elevate” the entire experience. For one young Texan, his Pizza! Pizza was made even better when a Little Caesars employee assigned him a nickname on his order.

Kelsey Jeffries (@kelsey.jeffries3) posted a short, giggle-filled video to TikTok. It ended up amassing over 3.9 million views. The cardiac nurse, who’s an aspiring TikTok star (sort of), shot the video in the front seat of her car.

No Such Thing As Bad Pizza

In it, her son is laughing over the way he was characterized in the order ticket. With the pizza box in his lap, he says, “So I went inside Little Caesars, and I got a pizza. And I went back to the car,” he says.

Then he realizes, “Oh, they didn’t ask me for my name.”

Next, he notices the receipt taped to the box. So he pulls it off and reads it.

“I take it off,” he says, still giggling as he holds it up to the camera. “It says ‘white boy,'” he says in case it’s not legible on-screen.

And then the camera pans back out, and he’s absolutely cracking up laughing.

Mission Accomplished (Pizza Acquired)

As it turns out, more than a few users have had a similar takeout, and the descriptions are as funny as they are straightforward.

“Something like this happened to me but with chick fil a,” one viewer shared. Then, they posted an image of the ticket. In the area where a name should be is one word: “gay.”

“Happened with me once and it was ‘glasses’,” exclaimed another.

Another user, Rachel Moore (@misskriant) shared, “I worked in an accounting office next door to little Caesars. Went to get my order and they had my name as ‘tax lady’.”

Overall, everyone seems to be in on the joke—and taking it for what it seems to be: a harmless, lighthearted moment.

‘Not Trying To Get Anyone Fired’

In a follow-up video, Jeffries directly addresses the few in her comments who are suggesting that she pursue legal action. “We are not taking legal action on this Little Caesars. We are not trying to get this girl fired,” she says.

“He is literally a white boy. It’s not that serious,” she states.

Finally she says, “We were laughing about it. We thought it was funny.”

Then they went home, ate the pizza, and went to sleep. “That was it,” she says.

And to the folks in the comments who are getting ready to file paperwork, she says, “Everybody in the comments, who’re making this all serious, are taking all the fun out of it.”

Why Are People So Ready To Sue?

Sometimes it seems like the response to every slight, real or imagined, is to lawyer up and mount a lawsuit. Where does this impulse come from? According to one legal-service YouTuber, “Litigation is a weapon.” It’s a way for the little guy to fight back against someone with more resources, says that source. That site also argues that because America doesn’t have a lot of regulation, lawsuits can be the only way to force a kind of regulation.

But popular opinion suggests that Americans themselves think we’re too prone to ridiculous lawsuits. “More than three-fourths of American voters believe lawsuit abuse is a serious problem,” reports the site, The Center Square. And these lawsuits purportedly drive up the cost of everything—for everyone.

So what’s a person to do? Welp, just because you can sue someone (since you can sue just about anyone for anything), you don’t necessarily need to run to your lawyer’s office yet. If you don’t like how you were treated, consider chatting with a manager. Or, if you’ve got a sense of humor, consider laughing it off and possibly taking your situation to TikTok. Maybe, it’ll be your first hit video and start you on an unexpected path to influencer-dom.
