The first trailer for The Death of Robin Hood, which stars Hugh Jackman in the titular lead role, has been released. While The Death of Robin Hood does not have an official premiere date, the film is set to be released in theaters this year.

Directed by Pig and A Quiet Place: Day One director Michael Sarnoski, The Death of Robin Hood stars Hugh Jackman in the lead role of Robin Hood, which is a promising return to gritty form for the beloved actor after recent schmaltzy/glossy projects such as The Son, Deadpool & Wolverine, and the recently released Song Sung Blue.

Alongside the Oscar-nominated Jackman, The Death of Robin Hood also stars Jodie Comer, Bill Skarsgård, Murray Bartlett and Noah Jupe.
