The concept of time travel, while very cool in theory, isn’t something that actually exists. Right?
A man named Alec Schaal is making people ask that very question after posting a series of videos on TikTok that seem to be almost unexplainable.
The story is that one day he was notified of some movement by his security camera system at a home in Florida that he rents out as an Airbnb.
What he ended up seeing was a young man wearing a backpack that he did not know walking onto his land, wandering around his backyard, then entering a shed on the property.
Schaal keeps the video rolling, fast forwarding to show that at no point did the man exit the shed.
“I literally can’t make this up,” Schaal says in the first video of the time traveler.
At that point in the video, sensing something strange was going on, Schaal contacted police and had them come out to look around and find out what the guy was doing.
Except when police looked inside the shed and the time traveler was not inside of it. In fact, he was nowhere to be found anywhere on the property.
“I’ve been watching this back door camera the whole entire time and he never left,” Schaal claims. “I really watched the camera the whole time. He never left. Police didn’t see him in there and, like, it blows my mind.”

Schaal proceeded to follow up with several other TikTok videos because people had so many questions.
One of them was the full video of this time traveler entering his shed then disappearing.
He also shared the full video of the police visiting the property because some viewers had doubts that they were real cops.
Another was footage he says was from the next day. Again he gets a notification that there’s movement in his backyard. When he checks that video it shows an old man who looks strikingly similar to the young time traveler exiting the shed.

He swears there are no tunnels or anything in the shed and that, while the property is five hours from where he lives, he will be visiting it soon to put a camera inside the shed in case something like this time traveler ever happens again.
Here’s the thing. While time travel is not possible today, if it does exist in the future (and scientists have already proven it is theoretically possible), we wouldn’t know it yet, so without proof that this is a prank or something it can’t be completely ruled out.
