Timothee Chalamet is on top of the world these days — quite literally, as one of his most recent promotional stunts for his new film Marty Supreme was to appear on top of the Las Vegas Sphere.

Marty Supreme is a film about a young man with undying belief in himself and his destiny, which has been the exact energy that Timothee Chalamet has been channeling on the press tour, in which he’s almost single-handedly turned an original drama into an event film — Marty Supreme made $875K from 6 theaters this weekend, which is the biggest per theater average gross for a film in almost a decade.

Movie fans unearth old Timothee Chalamet tweet in which he posted a photo of Heath Ledger’s Joker the week Interstellar came out

As it turns out, though Chalamet might have been in “Marty Mauser mode” for over a decade, as fans have discovered a tweet that he posted the week Interstellar came out — his first film role.

The shot of Ledger’s iconic Joker that Chalamet shared came during the character’s second scene in The Dark Knight, in which he introduces himself to Gotham City’s mob bosses.

While Chalamet shared the tweet without context, fans speculate that he posted it as a reaction to finding out his role in the film was smaller than anticipated — the two-time Best Actor nominee has previously admitted he “wept for an hour” after finding out his role was cut back.

“Him tweeting this after realizing his role in interstellar was much smaller than expected is dead ass hilarious,” one movie fan said.

“He has been committed to the bit for over a decade now. Last real superstar,” another added.

Chalamet’s new film Marty Supreme, which is expected to earn him his third Academy Award nomination for Best Actor, will be released in movie theaters nationwide on Christmas Day. Check out the official trailer below.
