Timothee Chalamet is grinding away on yet another press tour, this time in promotion of his new film Marty Supreme, which is expected to earn him his third Academy Award nomination for Best Actor.
During a recent appearance on the Lucid Motors series Hard Launch, Timothee Chalamet — alongside New York Knicks stars Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart — answered a series of questions while on a race track in the Lucid Air Sapphire, which the company claims is the quickest electric sedan in a world.
One of those questions was who he considers to be the GOAT (greatest of all time) actor, which prompted Chalamet to give three answers: Denzel Washington, Christian Bale, and Joaquin Phoenix.
Timothee Chalamet has named Denzel Washington, Christian Bale and Joaquin Phoenix has his three “GOAT” actors
According to Chalamet, Denzel is the GOAT. Then there’s Christian Bale — Chalamet has oft said The Dark Knight is his favorite movie of all time — who is the “second GOAT.”
Finally, there’s Joaquin Phoenix. He’s not the “third GOAT,” though, but rather, “the strange GOAT,” according to Chalamet.
“Denzel’s the Goat, Christian Bale’s the second Goat and Joaquin’s the strange Goat,” Chalamet said in a Hard Launch interview.

Marty Supreme, which is also expected to contend for Best Picture at the Academy Awards, will be released in movie theaters on Christmas Day.
In addition to Chalamet, the Josh Safdie directed film also stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, Kevin O’Leary, Tyler Okonma, Abel Ferrara and Fran Drescher.
