A new film titled The Carpenter is set in ancient Jerusalem and follows an orphan named Oren who discovers mixed martial arts as his ‘side hustle’ while apprenticing for Jesus Christ, the most famous carpenter in history.
The official trailer for The Carpenter was released months ago but has recently exploded in popularity as people on social media scrolled past ‘What if Jesus Christ was an MMA coach‘ posts and immediately had to stop and investigate. Because let’s be honest, Historical Fiction as a genre is trash…. unless the topic is completely over-the-top and outlandish. Remember Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter? Of course, you do!
TRAILER: Jesus Christ Is An MMA Coach In Ancient Jerusalem In ‘The Carpenter’
If you haven’t seen the ‘Jesus Christ MMA Coach’ movie poster for The Carpenter yet then prepare to be amazed:
HOLY F—ING SH– THIS IS REAL I THOUGHT THIS WAS A JOKE BUT IT’S REAL THIS IS A REAL MOVIE ABOUT JESUS CHRIST TRAINING A GUY TO DO MMA IN ANCIENT JERUSALEM HOLY WTF 👀 pic.twitter.com/JtSMEWWLor

While there are numerous bible verses that condemn violence and have been used to besmirch the good name of Mixed Martial Arts, I’d like to point out that nowhere in the Bible does it explicitly say that Jesus Christ wasn’t an MMA coach at some point.
Furthermore, there is an 18-year gap in the Bible from when Jesus Christ was aged 12 to 30 years old so historians cannot rule out the possibility that The Carpenter was, in fact, an MMA coach to his orphaned apprentice…
Now, let’s take a look at Psalm 144 (David):
“Praise be to the Lord my Rock,
who trains my hands for war”
How the producers didn’t think to put that on the film’s poster is beyond me! It’s as if someone in ancient Jerusalem wrote that up specifically thinking in 2,024 years someone would make a movie about Jesus Christ as an MMA trainer to an orphaned apprentice and they would need a flashy verse for the poster… and then the producers dropped the ball.
The Carpenter hits theaters on November 1st. It is quite possible this masterpiece sets new box office records. Avatar and The Titanic have nothing on this film. Prepare to be amazed. Visit CarpenterMovie.com to learn more.
