‘First You Take Your Tito’s…’: California Golf Cart Server Reveals The No. 1 Most Popular Cocktail On The Course. This U.S. President Enjoyed Them

One golf cart server shares how to make the most requested cocktail on her course in a now-viral video. But golfers are split on just how accurate her recipe really is.

In a video with more than 417,000 views, Angelee, a cart girl at Carlton Oaks Golf Course (@carlton.oaks.play), stands in front of the small bar attached to her golf cart.

“I wanted to show you the most popular drink that I make, the transfusion,” she says.

How To Make The Transfusion Golf Cart Cocktail

According to Trouble Off the Tee, the “golfer’s favorite” beverage was notably enjoyed by former President Dwight D. Eisenhower on his home course. However, each course has its own variation of the drink.

At Carlton Oaks in Santee, Calif., she pours a shot of Tito’s and Canada Dry ginger ale into a cup with ice. Then she tops it off with a splash of Welch’s grape juice and a fresh lime.

In the comments, golfers attest that they frequently request the transfusion on the course.

“Love transfusions. They’re dangerous,” one writes.

“Sounds perfect on the course,” another says.

“The official golf course cocktail. Honestly, you never drink one off the course,” a third adds.

Do All Golfers Agree With The Recipe?

Despite Angelee crafting a classic transfusion, some golfers insist this beverage cart girl’s recipe isn’t quite right.

“Sprite over Gingerale tho! For me,” a commenter suggests. Another agrees, writing, “Gotta use Sprite instead of ginger ale.”

“Club soda so much better than the Gingerale,” another writes.

“Make it with Fresca instead. Sugar-free and even better!” a third says.

“I believe the transfusion uses cran-grape juice,” a fourth commenter adds.

Some question the amount and type of alcohol in the recipe.

“That needs to be at least two shots of Tito’s,” one insists.

“Now make it a triple,” another says. One commenter echoes, “Double the Tito’s sounds good!”

“Pink Whitney is a pretty good sub for Tito’s… cart girl was out of Tito’s one time and she had pink Whitney wasn’t a bad at all,” a third shares.

“Tito’s gets way too much publicity. So many other good vodkas,” another writes.

“They are so good with tequila!” another self-described golfer adds.

Despite the popularity of the transfusion, other golfers say they have a different go-to beverage.

“Should try the Water Hazard, it’s so good,” a commenter suggests.

“Hold all of that. Add tequila and Sprite,” another requests.

“That’s not a Coors Light…,” a third jokes.
