Troy Aikman didn’t like what he saw from the Cowboys during their game against the Bears and no one was safe from criticism.
On Thursday Night Football, the Cowboys got embarrassed by the Bears a week after the team vowed to bounce back from their loss on Thanksgiving.

During the broadcast, Aikman brought up the point that the team probably couldn’t fire Jason Garrett because the rest of the Cowboys coaches have also been terrible and aren’t worthy to take over the team.

There’s a lot of discussion as to whether Jason (Garrett) should keep his job now but you have to ask yourself, who in that staff has earned the right to be an interim head coach? I can’t think of one guy who’s done a good enough job with his position, much less a coordinator who you would put in that seat
Aikman did go on to criticize the players for the Cowboys’ problems as well.
"This is on the players as much as it is on the coaches. I'm not sure I'd even talk to the team this week. I'd just say, 'let's just go play next week and you guys figure it out." – Troy Aikman
