David and Victoria Beckham’s eldest son Brooklyn made an explosive statement on Instagram that accused his family of systematically undermining his relationship with his wife Nicola Peltz.
In a lengthy post on his Instagram Story, Brooklyn Beckham, 26 years old, accused his parents David and Victoria of trying to “control the narratives” around his life, in addition to “trying endlessly to ruin” his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz, whom he married in 2022.
The most eye-opening — or headline-making, at the very least — portion of Brooklyn Beckham’s public statement was the factoid that his mother Victoria danced “inappropriately” during the first dance at his wedding, leading to a plethora of memes.

“In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead,” Beckham explained on IG. “She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”

Unfortunately for curious pop culture fans, though, video of the incident has not (yet) made its way onto the internet.
Brooklyn’s mother Victoria, of course, was famously a member of the 90’s British pop group Spice Girls as Posh Spice. After her music career, she then became a notable fashion designer. His father David is a famed English footballer that played for iconic clubs as such Manchester United, Real Madrid, AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain.
