Footage shared this week at a Congressional hearing on UFO transparency and whistleblower protection showed a Hellfire missile appearing to “bounce right off” an orb-shaped UFO. The missile was shot from a U.S. military drone off the coast of Yemen on October 30, 2024. The video was reportedly shared with the Congressional task force by a whistleblower.

In the footage shared by Rep. Eric Burlison of Missouri, an MQ-9 drone, also known as a Reaper, is tracking a orb-shaped UFO while a second MQ-9 drone launches a Hellfire missile at it. After being hit, the UFO appeared to possibly suffer some damage, but still managed to continue on in the air.

“It kept going, and it looked like the debris was taken with it,” Burlison said. “I’m not going to speculate what it is, but the question is why are we being blocked from this information?”

‘Hiding information from Americans for decades’

During the hearing of the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, UFO investigator and journalist George Knapp was asked to comment on the video. “That’s a Hellfire missile smacking into that UFO, and bouncing right off – and it kept going,” he said. “There are servers where there’s a whole bank of these kind of videos that Congress has not been allowed to see.”

“The federal government has been hiding information from Americans for decades. We have spent years seeking information on the assassinations of President Kennedy, Senator Kennedy, Reverend King, and other government secrets without success,” Rep. Anna Paulina Luna of Florida said in a statement prior to the hearing. “It is time to give Americans the answers they deserve, which is why I am honored to lead this bipartisan task force that seeks truth and transparency. We will also investigate UAPs/USOs, the Epstein client list, COVID-19 origins, and the 9/11 files.”

UAPs or Unidentified Aerial Phenomena is the term the U.S. government now uses for what in the past were referred to as Unidentified Flying Objects, or UFOs. The term USO stands for Unidentified Submerged Object.
