The final trailer for Wake Up Dead Man, the latest film in Rian Johnson’s murder-mystery Knives Out series, has been released. Wake Up Dead Man will be released in select theaters on November 26 before streaming on Netflix on December 12.

The star-studded cast of Wake Up Dead Man includes Daniel Craig, Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church.

Despite the release of the final trailer, the synopsis for the film remains sparse, as Netflix simply describes the film as being “Benoit Blanc’s most dangerous case yet in the third and darkest chapter of Rian Johnson’s murder mystery opus.”

Wake Up Dead Man is the second Knives Out film to be released by Netflix after acquiring the rights to the franchise from Lionsgate in 2021 for $469 million. The first Knives Out sequel, Glass Onion, was released in 2022 and while less acclaimed than its predecessor, was still widely beloved and was a massive hit for Netflix.

While Wake Up Dead Man is the last movie that’s part of the original $469M purchase in 2021, both director Rian Johnson and star Daniel Craig have expressed an interest in continuing to make films in the series.
