Leaked Footage Of Unreleased Halo Game Shows What Was Going To Basically Be ‘LEGO Halo’ For Xbox 360

Back in 2013, there was a ‘Megabloks x Halo’ game being developed by N-Space which was essentially going to be a LEGO version of Halo. The project was doomed, and it was scrapped in 2013, but footage of this fun-looking game has just leaked onto ye olde interwebs.

From what we can see in this footage it appears as if the game was off to an awesome start, and was well on its way to becoming a staple of the Halo franchise before it was scrapped. There were going to be customizable weapons, vehicles, platforming, and the Mega Blocls Halo game would’ve been marketed towards a younger audience, opening up new revenue streams for Microsoft.

According to the bros at The Lad Bible, Halo Mega Bloks ran on Unreal Engine 3 and would’ve put the user in control of a Megablok Spartan inside of a Megablock world. It’s a shame that this game never saw the light of day, but I think we can stay optimistic that a Halo game such as this, built for a younger audience, will one day hit retail shelves.
