El Moussa, the star of HGTV’s Flip or Flop, has a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. A nurse in Colorado watching an episode of the show noticed that his neck looked like the neck of thyroid cancer patients. So she wrote a letter to the show’s producers urging Moussa to go get checked out. It’s a good thing that he did — The 34-year-old host had thyroid cancer that had spread to his lymph nodes.
It’s in remission now after being caught in the early stages, but still — Dude has to be counting his blessings this weekend.
