There were rumors that there would be a N.W.A. reunion ever since January when Ice Cube said he was “gonna try to bring the members of N.W.A. together” for his Coachella set. And Cube did just that. He had a N.W.A. reunion and brought out MC Ren and DJ Yella, followed by Snoop Dogg and Common.
Cube opened with “Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It,” then the incredible moment happened when he introduced fellow N.W.A. members Ren and Yella for fiery performances of “Straight Outta Compton” and “Fuck tha Police.” Despite missing Dr. Dre, the scene was electric.

Later in the set, Common joined Cube for “Real People,” and Snoop Dogg broke in to rap “Go to Church” and “The Next Episode.”

Ice Cube also brought out his son, O’Shea Jackson Jr., who played him in the N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton, to help drop some verses on “Dopeman.”
Cube closed with “It Was A Good Day.”
Even Common couldn’t contain his exuberance over the performance.
