Jennifer Lawrence was her lovable self on Late Night With Seth Meyers last night, which means (A. she openly guzzled wine and (B. She remained super cool about an embarrassing crush she had on Seth Meyers back when he was the head writer of SNL. J-Law hosted SNL in January of 2013 at the age of 23. Meyers, the show’s head writer at the time, was 38 and engaged. Despite Lawrence’s celebrity stock exploding, she ended up crushing hard on Meyers during her “SNL Week” preparing for the show.
Except there was one problem: He was engaged and she had no idea.
Last night she shared that story on the air, warts and all. It’s endearing in the way that all the goofy things that J-Law does is endearing.
