Just Bill Murray Singing Bob Dylan And Smoking Cigs Like The Hero That He Is

Every couple of weeks a new story hits the Internet about Bill Murray doing something ridiculously random to a group of strangers, like crashing a couple’s engagement pics or driving a taxi cab. This is not one of those stories, but still makes me love Murray just as much. In a marketing promo for his upcoming movie St. Vincent with Melissa McCarthy, Murray imitates you drunk uncle at Thanksgiving, stepping outside to light up a smoke while casually humming the Bob Dylan classic, “Shelter From The Storm.”

It is a wonderful moment of zen. Also: Murray is rocking the fuck out of those camo cargo shorts, too, like a man who would never even flinch at the idea of walking into a strip club for the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet.

The movie — starring Murray as “a retired curmudgeon with a penchant for alcohol and gambling” in Brooklyn — comes out this Friday.

Bill Murray is just so effortless at being Bill Murray. It’s the most endearing thing ever. The man is a legend in the best ways possible. May we all aspire to be like him.
