Justin Bieber Reportedly Kicked Out Of Coachella After Being Put In A Chokehold By Security (Video)

Everyone remembers that extremely heartfelt speech by Justin Bieber at the end of his Comedy Central Roast, right? That ol’ speech about how he wanted to turn over a new leaf in his life and get back to being that humble kid from YouTube all the tweens were in love with (at least I think that was the gist). Well it only took a few weeks but Justin Bieber‘s already laid the first brick on his path to regaining good will by getting put into a chokehold at the Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival held last weekend at Indio’s Empire Polo Club (the first of two weekends).

TMZ is reporting that Justin Bieber was put into a chokehold by security and then he and his entourage were escorted off of the festival premises. There’s also footage of Justin of allegedly getting booted from the Drake performance he was trying to get in to:

I have to say, from TMZ’s account of the incident it really doesn’t sound like Justin and his entourage were out of line or making unreasonable demands. This sounds more like a security team who saw the opportunity to stir up some drama, as bouncers are known to do from time to time. To me it sounds like a kid who was invited personally by the featured act of the weekend to his closing performance, and who was getting cock-blocked by some bouncers who just wanted to throw a chokehold. Here’s what TMZ reported on the incident:

Bieber and his entourage walked to the artist’s entrance where Drake was performing, when they were stopped by security and told the area was at capacity and they couldn’t come in. Bieber and his crew showed security they had the proper wristbands to gain entry.
Eyewitnesses tell TMZ, Bieber argued with security, saying there was no way he could stand in a big crowd because he’d get bombarded by fans. Security wasn’t having it and told him to leave.
We’re told Bieber persisted and said he was personally invited by Drake and had been waiting all weekend to see him perform. Bieber didn’t stand down and security was pissed.
At that point a Coachella staffer came up to Bieber and said she would escort him inside the artist’s area. She grabbed Bieber by the arm and began walking him and his security team inside, when Coachella security came up from behind and put Bieber in a chokehold.
We’re told Bieber’s team got into it with security and the singer was then ordered to leave the festival.
Sources close to Bieber say he voluntarily left, and they’re considering taking legal action against the security guards.

Sounds like if they were to take legal action they’d have a pretty good case, as he was already being walked inside the VIP by a festival employee when he was accosted by security. Neither Drake nor Madonna were reached for comment regarding the circumstances surrounding Bieber’s chokehold. As for the video that purportedly showed him getting dragged out of Coachella in a chokehold: it looks like it was shot on a potato, and there’s really no evidence of force being used other than a group of people moving swiftly. And what’s the point of Justin employing his own security force if they can’t even stop him from getting put in chokeholds by strangers?

All that aside: wouldn’t the chance to see Justin Bieber get put in a chokehold make the trip to Coachella all worth it?

In other news, I just learned the entire history of Canada in one photo:
