Ship, based on William Brinkley's novel of the same name, will star Grey's Anatomy's veteran Eric Dane as Capt. Tom Chandler, a career Navy man who heads the destroyer U.S.S. Nathan James, a ship that is spared in a devastating global catastrophe.
After the tragedy, Chandler and his crew must adapt to a world where they may be among the few survivors.
Ship also stars Rhona Mitra as a paleomicrobiologist investigating the cause of billions of deaths; Adam Baldwin as the Nathan James' second-in-command; and Tracy Middendorf as Chandler's wife.
