Pete Davidson lost his dad on 9/11. He was one of the first responders to the Marriott World Trade Center Hotel. The hotel was destroyed when the towers fell and Pete’s dad, Scott, lost his life saving others.
That was 14 years ago, Pete was only seven at the time, and the SNL featured player still thinks about his father every day. To mark the anniversary of September 11th, and his father’s unfortunate passing, Pete posted a tribute on Twitter that was both touching and absolutely hilarious.
Can’t believe its been 14 years. I remember seeing ur gigantic dick like it was just yesterday. RIP Dad #NeverForget pic.twitter.com/siQ3rVXN58
