Josh Cooley is a storyboard artist at Pixar. He even has an IMDB profile to prove it. In his free time, though, Cooley makes children’s book–esque illustrations of movie scenes from classic rated-R movies, including Alien, Fargo, The Silence of the Lambs, Apocalypse Now, The Shining, The Big Lebowski, and Pulp Fiction, amongst others. The illustrations are part of his forthcoming book Movies R Fun!: A Collection of Cinematic Classics for the Pre-(Film) School Cinephile, which will be released next week.
