Two days ago we learned that Christopher Boykin better known as Big Black passed away after suffering a heart attack at 45 years of age.
Boykin was skateboarder Rob Dyrdek’s best friend and bodyguard, starring alongside him in “Rob & Big” for three seasons during the mid-to-late 2000’s.
Before the show ever aired on MTV, Big Black was featured in an early DC skating video with Rob which was uploaded to Youtube recently. The video is tough to watch now but it exemplifies everything we’ve come to love about Boykin throughout the years.
