YouTube user Doug Keener recreated Jerry Seinfeld’s apartment from Seinfeld in the first person shooter video game Doom II: Hell on Earth with astounding results as seen in this video…
George yelling, “Serenity now!” when he gets blasted. Jerry shouting, “Newman!” when he’s pumped full of lead. Elaine blurting out, “Get out!” and “Idiot!” when she’s taken out. The surprise cameo by Newman towards the end is diabolical.
According to the video’s description, it took Keener 100 hours of work and I have to say, if you’re going to spend 100 hours of work on anything, this is well worth it. Waste of time? You obviously don’t value the virtual money everyone is throwing at their screens to make more of these mashups.
These comments on YouTube make my millennium:
pyrobooby: “Somehow, this is still a better ending than the original finale.”
dewhashish: “Serenity now, insanity later.”
pyramidmirrors: “And what’s the deal with double barreled shotguns?”
Doug’s now got requests:
Matthew Stryker: “make one of Frasier”
ArcadeGames: “Make a Full House version;)”
Reddit had some dynamite drop-ins as well:
VR sex with Elaine is next level cybering right there.
Those door noises! They creeped me out playing the game, they creep me out in this video. I got ‘bumps on ‘bumps over here.
Of course, if you’re not familiar with Doom II, it was released in 1994 and received a 95% rating from GameRankings, an 83 out of 100 from Metacritic, and four out of five stars from AllGame. Find yourself a copy and say goodbye to your free time, work time, and sleep time.
