It’s not even up for debate: Dennis Reynolds from It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia is one of the most depraved and psychopathic characters on television. But just because he’s an egomaniacal sociopath it doesn’t mean he’s not one of the best written characters on TV, because he is. You’d be hard-pressed to find a character as enigmatic as Dennis Reynolds without looking to an H. Jon Benjamin special like the namesake from ‘Archer‘ or Louise from ‘Bob’s Burgers‘.
It’s a strong testament to the dark writing of ‘It’s Always Sunny’ that with a slight reordering of clips and an overlay of dark music, ‘The D.E.N.N.I.S. System’ turns into what could (and should) be 2015’s best horror flick.
