I’m a sucker for some great historical fiction. While other first person shooter franchises concentrate on the future of conflict and warfare, Battlefield is rebooting the entire franchise to concentrate on the narratives of yesteryear. That’s why the World War I-inspired Battlefield 1 is a huge breath of fresh air to a lot of arm chair gamers like myself.
If you’re the type of gamer who buys FPS games for the story like myself, you’ll dig this trailer for single-player campaign version of Battlefield 1. It’s pretty cool to see Battlefield go back to feeling like an adventure game release after all these years.
