This is easily the best Broadway performance I’ve seen since my parents took me to see The Lion King when I was six. Hit after hit after hit, in the most Broadway-esque style possible, because this is the Internet and you can do whatever the fuck you want to do here…like flawlessly point out how poetic some of rap’s biggest hits are these days!
There was some great homage paid in ‘Hip-Hop Goes Broadway’ to some of the rap game’s best, including: Jay-Z, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Drake, Lil’ Wayne, and a ton more. Straight fire. Play this in the club, and you know everybody’s going 100, getting it twisted, screwed, and keepin’ it turnt up all night long.
