This upcoming Friday, Hoodie Allen will drop his new album, Happy Camper. Meanwhile, Hoodie is greasing up the buzz machine by releasing a video for a single off the project called “Are You Having Any Fun?” In his own words, it’s a “track that was reminiscent of the early 90’s hip hop that got me hooked on the genre. The video follows me on a first date with a girl trying to win over her affection through a series of video game inspired achievements. Think De La Soul meets Scott Pilgrim.”
The video is a nice little nod to GTA V, too. I could see Hoodie being a big Michael De Santa guy.
