If you’re not already watching FOX’s Last Man On Earth I highly encourage you bros to get on it, because over the past two seasons I’ve found that I look forward to that show more than any other. Very similar to how I felt about early seasons of Archer and It’s Always Sunny.
Now I’m going to toss in a few minor spoilers here, so if you’re interested in watching the show but haven’t started yet then you should just watch the two bros sing their duet above, but if you want some context I’ve got it for you right here:
If you are already watching Last Man On Earth then you know that Jason Sudeikis plays Will Forte‘s brother, and the two were reunited this season after some strange circumstances. Firstly, everyone on planet earth died due to some apocalyptic disease, save for a handful of the characters on the show. While everyone on Planet Earth was dying Jason Sudeikis was in space, because he’s an astronaut with NASA. His brother, Will Forte, is a completely lovable buffoon who makes well intentioned but very poor decisions every chance he gets, and eventually the two are reunited after Sudeikis’ pod travels back to earth and they find each other against all odds.
After some serious back and forth brotherly sparring between the two they come to find that it’s a miracle to be reunited, and then the bros go on a marathon of singing REO Speedwagon’s ‘Can’t Fight This Feeling’ over, and over, and over, and over, and over. It’s a pretty great moment in the show’s history, and one that was just brought to late night TV when they met on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night…Now you’re up to speed.
