John Mayer Brought Out Dave Chappelle Last Night To Pay Tribute To Charlie Murphy

Last night John Mayer’s The Search For Everything tour hit the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio. At the very end of the show, John Mayer brought out his good friend Dave Chappelle, an Ohio native. The two have been Bros for years, with the Chapelle Show awesomely featuring a skit with Mayer called “White people can’t dance — unless there’s guitar!

Chappelle and Mayer bantered for a while, eventually paying tribute to Charlie Murphy. The show closed with Mayer singing “You’re Gonna Live Forever In Me,” a heartfelt new Mayer song that the duo dedicated to the late, great comedian.
