Every summer a song comes out that distinctly defines itself as the song of the summer. Last year it was Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy,” and while everyone and their mothers hates Iggy now you can’t deny that whenever the song came up on the radio you were sitting there singing along with it.
I can’t guarantee that you’ll be singing along with Katy B on Keys N Krates’ new track “Save Me” since there’s a heavier focus on the actual instrumentals rather than the lyrics (opposite of what we have in “Fancy”), but what I can guarantee is that the bouncing beats the meld together with pitched up vocals and multi-layered percussion lines will have you grooving to this until the leaves start falling in October.
