Backstage at the 2017 Rolling Loud Festival shenanigans were had. Rich Chigga used Postmates to have a mariachi band delivered backstage, and he surprised Post Malone with the band who then sang ‘Congratulations’, Post Malone’s hit from his debut album Stoney.
Post tries to coach the mariachi band at first on how to perform the song, but then gives up and joins in on the fun. This all went down behind the stage, away from fans, but immediately went viral on Twitter after a clip was shared.
The 2017 Rolling Loud Festival took place last weekend in Miami’s Bayfront Park and it featured headliners Kendrick Lamar, Future, Lil Wayne, A$AP Rocky, and pretty much every other big name in Hip-Hop who is performing at the moment. XXL Mag called it the ‘Hip-Hop Fan’s Version of Disney World’, that’s how legit this festival was.
It would’ve been a shame if this awesome moment wasn’t shared with fans. Thankfully, we live in the era of social media and there’s not a single festival moment that isn’t documented, and this footage has since gone viral.
