Is Green Day’s “Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)” still the #1 high school senior prom/graduation song every year? It sure as hell was back when I was in high school. The May of my senior year was just an insufferable trudge of hearing that whiny “Hope you had the time of your life!” chorus over a guitar strum over and over and over again.
The troll in the video above has the right idea. While he roommate is playing various jams on the acoustic guitar, he films himself singing the first stanza from the song: “ANOTHER TURNING POINT, A FORK STUCK IN THE ROAD…”
That shitty Green Day song *actually* doesn’t sound that bad over Dave Matthews’ “Crash”. Maybe White Panda can make a mash-up that actually works out of those two jams? I’d like to see that happen.
